Meet the Board
Lukas Macquoy
Presiding Partner
I am active in our investment group because I believe in the power of collaboration and finding growth opportunities through collective insights. My passion for investing stems from a curiosity about the dynamics of financial markets and the urge to keep growing both intellectually and financially.
As Presiding Partner, I lead the weekly meetings and oversee the broad outlines of our strategy. I connect the various members and ensure that our shared vision translates into clear actions and well-considered investment decisions.
Alec Decloedt
Assistant Presiding Partner
When Martijn came up with the idea of founding LSB in the summer of 2024, I mostly wondered why we hadn't done it ourselves earlier. Since we are all actively involved in investing in our group of friends, it made sense to join forces.
As Assistant Presiding Partner, I support the Presiding Partner in preparing and supervising meetings and implementing strategic decisions. I help provide structure and continuity within the team, ensuring that our shared vision is kept on track.
Mathias De Wachter
Legal Partner
Within the Limburgse Studenten Beleggingsgroep (LSB), I fulfill the role of Legal Partner. In this position, I am responsible for legal matters within the association, such as ensuring compliance with regulations and providing support on legal issues.
I joined LSB because I have gained an interest (through the other members) in investing and financial markets, and I find it valuable to share knowledge and insights with other students. In addition, LSB offers me the opportunity to apply my legal expertise in a hands-on environment.
Martijn Czachur
Founding Member & Financial Partner
As the founder and founding member of LSB, I have been driven from the beginning to bring our vision to life. My passion for financial markets motivated me to work with others to create a structure in which we can invest, learn and grow as students.
In my current role as Financial Partner, I am responsible for all financial administration. I keep track of all transactions, follow the portfolio closely and ensure that every deposit and distribution is correct and transparent. In this way, I lay the foundation on which we can make thoughtful investment decisions as a group.

Recording Partner
LSB was a no-brainer for me. It is a unique opportunity to not only learn about investing in the secondary market, but also apply it immediately in practice. Theory is nice, but nothing beats real experience. And the best part? You do it with a group of students who share the same passion.
Within LSB, I make sure everything runs smoothly within the board. From keeping minutes at meetings to boosting our social media engagement, I make sure everyone can work together smoothly. This is how we make LSB not only a place of learning, but also a strong and interactive community.
