Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Any student studying at a college or university can become a member of LSB. We welcome students from different schools and universities, regardless of their field of study or experience in investing.

LSB meets bi-weekly, both online and in person. During these meetings, the portfolio, current economic developments, and potential new investment opportunities are discussed and thoroughly analysed.

You can become a member by contacting our board via our website, social media or e-mail. You will then receive more information about the procedure and conditions of membership.

You can only become a member at certain times, usually at the start of the academic year. After your registration, the contribution and admission will be processed further, while we always ensure the stability of the portfolio.

The contribution is always equal to the current value of the portfolio per member. The initial contribution was €200 at the start.

You can only cancel your membership at the end of the academic year. On leaving, you will receive your share of the portfolio back, calculated on the basis of the value of the fund. This payout is made at the beginning of the following semester to maintain the stability of the portfolio.

The education program offers members the opportunity to increase knowledge about investing and finance. This is done through workshops, guest speakers, group discussions and sharing of research papers. Our aim is to help students learn through both theory and practical experience.
